Kaitlin’s interest in architecture began during a high school wood shop class. She designed and built a playhouse and donated it for children receiving medical care. In college, while taking architecture as a minor degree she encouraged by an admirable professor to pursue architecture full time. During her master’s program the immense knowledge of the discipline was overwhelming but exciting, as she learned about different styles, movements and inspirations which have opened her mind to the never-ending possibilities that architecture has to offer.
When not learning about codes, construction details or designing, Kaitlin loves to spend her spare time outdoors. She enjoys skiing and exploring Mt. Bachelor. Originally from Ohio, she finds the skiing here phenomenal in comparison to the Midwest (no surprise!). She also enjoys hiking, exploring new scenic views, and camping.
