Deschutes County Fair & Expo

A large portion of the 16-building 400,000 SF Fair & Expo facility is dedicated to the animals for the annual fair and similar events. All the barns are designed as A-2 assembly buildings and are provided with heating and fire sprinklers. 

The High Desert Activity Center (14,000 SF) is a multipurpose air-conditioned building that serves as the Poultry/Rabbit Barn during fair time; Llama/Goat/Dairy Barn (16,000 SF); Sheep Barn (24,000 SF); Swine Barn (13,000 SF); Beef Barn (28,000 SF); Horse Barn (14,000 SF)
