St. Charles Central Admitting Remodel

Steele Associates and ZGF worked closely with many SCMC departments to create a new 9,000 SF central admitting area, providing a private waiting room for patients where they can easily register for surgery, pre-surgery appointments, medical diagnostic services, ultrasounds, X-rays, nuclear medicine exams and infusions while helping the hospital and staff to more efficiently provide admitting services. Nurses now have space to call surgery patients to prepare them for their visit in privacy as well as pre-surgery consult rooms for added ease and comfort.
